Vivaldi : Concerti con molti istromenti
Después de tantos 'posts' con música romántica ¿qué tal un poquito de música barroca? A mí me encantan esos conciertos con muchos instrumentos en los que se dan insólitas combinaciones tímbricas. Bastantes maestros barrocos eran artistas en este tipo de mixturas instrumentales. Y uno de ellos, naturalmente, Vivaldi. En homenaje a este compositor, poco mencionado en nuestro querido foroclasico , y también como reconocimiento al emprendedor e inteligente Robert King, del que me agencié no hace mucho una gozosa cajita de 11 CDs con la práctica totalidad de la música sacra de Vivaldi, les quisiera ofrecer otro también gozoso disco suyo, dedicado a conciertos para muchos instrumentos del gran veneciano, editado por el sello Hyperion, al que asimismo quiero también homenajear por lo audaz e imaginativo de sus propuestas y la calidad de sus productos.
Sólo mencionar que parece bastante probable que el Concierto fúnebre RV579 fuera en efecto compuesto para unos funerales. Y que el concierto RV555 se lleva el premio en este disco a la combinación más extravagante y que es hermano gemelo, en cuanto a disposición instrumental, de un maravilloso concierto RV558 que no figura en esta colección de hoy pero que algún día les ofreceré.
